Working-bredblue heelersfrom the ridge.
Australian Cattle Dogs raised on eighteen acres of cattle pasture — hips and eyes cleared, temperament tested at six weeks, and placed by conversation rather than by form. Ask about a puppy and the message reaches us directly.

All ready to go home now. Tap a puppy and a text opens with its name already filled in.
You text us
Every button here opens a message with the puppy's name in it. Send it as-is or add whatever you want us to know.
We talk it through
A real conversation about your fencing, your hours, your other animals. We will tell you honestly if a heeler is the wrong dog.
Deposit holds the pup
$200 of the price, refundable up to pickup. Photos and a short video of your puppy working the yard until you collect.
Pickup at the kennel
Come meet the parents and see the kennel. You leave with records, microchip papers, food, and our number for the next fifteen years.
A job, a fence, and someone home
We are a two-person operation on eighteen acres — a small cow-calf herd, a hay field, and the cattle dogs that make both possible. Two litters a year, whelped in the house, socialised on stock.
Cattle dogs were bred to move stubborn stock across hard country for hours. That drive does not switch off in a townhouse — it turns into chewed baseboards and nipped ankles. Read these three before you text us.
Not two hours of walking. Herding, scent work, agility, fetch with rules — something that makes the dog think while it moves.
Five feet, no gaps. A bored heeler will find the one loose board in an acre and go check on the neighbours’ cattle.
Puppies nip heels because that is the job. Redirected early it fades; ignored, it becomes a habit around children. We coach you through it.

“Ours came off that pasture at eight weeks and had the goats sorted by Christmas. They wrote back at ten at night when she ate a wasp.”
They turned us down for the first litter and told us why — fencing. We fixed it, waited eight months, and got the right dog. That says everything.
M. Reyes
Weekly photos the whole eight weeks, health records in a folder at pickup, and a text back within the hour every time I have panicked since.
D. Lanier
Second dog from them. Both level-headed on stock, both crate-trained before they left the kennel. Our vet asks where they come from.

What does a puppy cost, and what is included?
$700 with a $200 deposit. That covers first vaccines, worming, microchip registration, BAER hearing test, the parents' health certificates, a starter bag of the food they are weaned onto, and a written two-year genetic guarantee.
Do you ship, or do I collect the puppy?
Collection at the kennel, always. No cargo shipping. If the drive is long we can usually meet you partway, or you can arrange a licensed ground courier and we will hand the puppy over in person.
Are heelers alright with children and other pets?
With supervision and early work on the heeling instinct, yes — ours live with cats, chickens and grandchildren. Under about five years old we usually suggest waiting: running toddlers look exactly like stock that needs moving.
Can an apartment or a full-time job work?
Sometimes, if you are honest with us about the plan — a midday walker, a dog sport, a job site the dog rides along to. Eight hours alone in a flat with no outlet is where these dogs go wrong, and we would rather say so before you pay a deposit.
How does the waiting list work if these puppies are all placed?
Text us and we add your name to a list kept in a notebook, not a portal. No fee to hold a place. When the next litter is confirmed pregnant you get a message before the site is updated.
One text. No forms, no waitlist portal.
Messages reach us directly, so replies land within a few hours between six and nine. Tell us about your home and we will answer every question you have.
