Questions we get by text
What does a puppy cost, and what is included?

$700 with a $200 deposit. That covers first vaccines, worming, microchip registration, BAER hearing test, the parents' health certificates, a starter bag of the food they are weaned onto, and a written two-year genetic guarantee.

Do you ship, or do I collect the puppy?

Collection at the kennel, always. No cargo shipping. If the drive is long we can usually meet you partway, or you can arrange a licensed ground courier and we will hand the puppy over in person.

Are heelers alright with children and other pets?

With supervision and early work on the heeling instinct, yes — ours live with cats, chickens and grandchildren. Under about five years old we usually suggest waiting: running toddlers look exactly like stock that needs moving.

Can an apartment or a full-time job work?

Sometimes, if you are honest with us about the plan — a midday walker, a dog sport, a job site the dog rides along to. Eight hours alone in a flat with no outlet is where these dogs go wrong, and we would rather say so before you pay a deposit.

How does the waiting list work if these puppies are all placed?

Text us and we add your name to a list kept in a notebook, not a portal. No fee to hold a place. When the next litter is confirmed pregnant you get a message before the site is updated.
